3 Business partners
General
In the COGLAS system, external parties involved in the handling of WMS processes are referred to as business partners.
Adding Business Partners Manually
The following section provides detailed instructions on how to manually add business partners in COGLAS.

| 1 | Click on the burger menu to access the system. |  |
| 2 | Select either from the "Master Data" tab or use the search bar to find "Business Partners." |  |
| 3 | Choose the "Add Business Partner" option. |  |
| 4 | You are now in the "New Business Partner" view. |  |
| 5 | Fill out the required information. |  |
| 6 | Here, a distinction is made between mandatory and optional fields. |  |
| 7 | The mandatory fields must be completed to proceed in COGLAS (see explanation of input options). If these are not filled, an error message will appear. |  |

Mandatory Fields | Description |
|---|---|
Number | A unique ID must be assigned to the business partner. The ID can be generated by COGLAS using "##". |
Name 1 | The name of the business partner must be entered. |
Partner Types | One of the assigned partner types must be selected. If none of the options apply, a "Blank field" can be selected. |

Ext. No. | An additional number can be assigned. |
Street 1 | The street address of the business partner can be entered. |
House No. | The house number of the business partner can be entered. |
City | The city of the business partner can be entered. |
Phone | The phone number of the business partner can be entered. |
The email address of the business partner can be entered. | |
Name 2 | A second name for the business partner can be entered. |
Street 2 | A second street address for the business partner can be entered. |
Postal Code | The postal code of the business partner can be entered. |
State | The state of the business partner can be entered. |
Country Code | The country code of the business partner can be entered. |
Country | The country of the business partner can be entered. |
Time Zone | The time zone of the business partner can be selected. |
Fax | The fax number of the business partner can be entered. |
Reference No. | A reference number can be assigned. |
Invoice Recipient | It can be selected whether the carrier or the business partner receives the invoice. |
Deactivated | The business partner can be deactivated. This selection can be reversed. |
