Material flow history

General

The stock movements are all transactions in COGLAS that were carried out for stock posting. Details such as the time, the COGLAS account carrying out the transaction, the booking type and other storage bin or article master data are displayed.

Other historical analyses

The stock movements provide information on who, when, what and from where/to where the transactions were posted. Further analyses are available to determine additional information about the transaction and to supplement the result. The combination of all analyses should then explain the situation in the best possible way.

  • System → Master data → Revision history

  • System → Transfer → Transfer control center

  • System → Transfer → Picking control center

Example

The search for a transaction should also check the list status change. The additional search can be carried out in the change history.

The search for a customer order shows all container movements. The search in the stock movement must also be carried out for the storage unit IDNR.

Functions

Button

Description

Print movements

A PDF preview of the search result is created. The result can be saved as a file or sent to a printer.

Overview of search options

Use the available search options to filter the results. The narrower the search is set, the faster and clearer the result will be.

Each search entry starts immediately. It is not necessary to confirm the entry with [Enter]. The active search process is indicated by a loading bar at the top of the window. The loading bar indicates that the search is still in progress. The loading bar can also restart several times depending on the runtime.

Fields

Description

Date range

Enter the period with a from/to date where the search should be carried out. The selection can be made according to predefined periods and according to your own settings. If no period is specified (‘Any’ selection), the search is performed over the entire available period.

Search field

Simple entry:

  • A value is entered in the search field.

Multiple entry:

  • Several values are entered separated by a ‘;’. Each individual entry is searched for and displayed in the result.

  • The combined search by list number and container movement can be used in this way.

Booking type

The booking type describes the transaction, i.e. what type the movement was. Several movement types can be selected. Each value is displayed cumulatively with the result.

Sort by

Sorting by is the display sequence for a field value. A value can be selected. The display sequence is differentiated between upwards and downwards.

Search result overview

The search result shows all the data found. The value searched for is checked in EVERY data field and displayed if it matches. Data that is not required may therefore also be displayed.

The number of results per page can be set using the page control at the bottom left of the page. The page to be displayed is selected at the bottom right.

Speed up the search:

  • Narrow down the date range: The larger the time period selected, the more data must be considered in the search.

  • Enter the value for the search as clearly as possible: The more precise the search value is specified, the better the result. The number of search attempts is also reduced.

  • Increase the number of results per page: The more lines you get displayed on a page, the fewer pages need to be reloaded.

Browser search function with [CTRL] + [F]:

  • Use the browser search and find your details faster by having the browser mark them accordingly. Additional searches can be reduced if necessary.
