Hardware configuration

General

Here you will find short explanations and videos on important functions for the hardware configuration of the COGLAS WEB WMS. In principle, the characters must be transferred as individual inputs and will not be recognized if they are received as a string. To ensure this, the settings must always be output as keystroke/key event.

Datawadge

ZEBRA DATAWEDGE (Version: 11.3.28)

For the TC520K device (these settings should also be usable for other devices that use DATWEDGE (11.3.28)), the settings should be set as follows in the DataWedge Configurations app (if you do not have access to this app, please contact your IT department).

      1. Send characters as events

   3. simple data formatting

      1. activate

      2. send data

      3. send with Enter

Honeywell (Android based scanners)

Using a Honeywell CT47 as an example, direct scanning with barcode processing in fields with the now you can scan remark (e.g. transfer storage unit) was implemented in COGLAS with the following settings:

Settings->Honeywell Settings->Scanning->Internal Scanner->Profile Selection (Default if no scan profiles have been created)->Data Processing

• Wedge Method: Keyboard

• Suffix: \x09

Possible suffix settings:

• \x0D (Carriage Return/Enter)

• \x0A (Line Feed)

• \x09 (Tab)

Keyence

To enable scan processing on Android-based Keyence scanners, the following settings must be configured:

Output: Keyboard (HID)

Keyboard Mode: Key Event.

Suffix: CR or 0x0D = Carriage Return/Enter

Videos

Screen scaling

Enables manual adjustment of the resolution to the screen size (only for mobile devices).

Printer control

Control of local printers via the COGLAS PrinterController.

Backhand scanner

Connection of the ProGlove backhand scanner to the COGLAS WEB WMS via ProGlove INSIGHT Mobile.

Mobile scanner

Connection of mobile scanners in smartphone format to the COGLAS WEB WMS.

Infoscan

Enables the scanning of labels to quickly display goods information in the WMS.

Pistol grip scanner

Connection of the scanner via Bluetooth with the COGLAS WEB WMS.

Scan function (Zebra handheld)

Configuration of the scan function in the DataWedge profile for Zebra handhelds.
