Internal Orders

General information

In the menu Internal orders (System->Stock->Internal orders) the corresponding orders can be administrated.

Internal orders are used to map stock transfers within the warehouse that take place outside of the goods receipt or goods issue processes: for example, a stock transfer from one storage location to another if this is not to be done via a direct stock transfer (Transfer storage unit from the menu or warehouse overview). It is also possible to create collective orders.

Customer orders: Collective order

Internal orders can be used in customer order processing, for example, for grouping and provision.

The goods for selected orders are transferred from the warehouse to staging via internal order according to the strategy (internal order). Depending on the settings in the Process Control tab in the header of the internal order, the customer orders are then started after each or the last storage unit has been staged. If only exclusively assigned goods are to be used, the source setting only stock from linked collective order is used in the customer order strategy.

This process can also be automated via the Event Center .
